Accessibility
Last changed 26 October 2026
Everyone who reads or writes your documents should be able to use Muto, however they use a computer or a phone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Muto is built to work with a keyboard alone, and you can always see where the keyboard is.
- Escape closes one window at a time, so you never lose your place.
- Buttons that show only an icon are named for screen readers.
- Muto works on phones and tablets, and nothing you need is hidden until you point at it with a mouse.
- On this website, pages are laid out with proper headings, every picture is described, and a link at the top skips straight to the page.
What we know isn’t right yet
- Muto hasn’t yet been checked by an outside accessibility tester.
- Some error messages are in a red that isn’t dark enough against white. We’re fixing them.
- A few things are quicker by dragging with a mouse. Most of them also have a menu or a keyboard way to do the same thing.
Tell us about a problem
If something in Muto or on this website is hard for you to use, please email support@muto.cloud with “Accessibility” in the subject. Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and we’ll reply within a couple of working days.
