About Muto
Muto turns a long document that a whole team has to agree on, keep up to date and read into one live document, with versions, where every reader sees the parts that are theirs.
Why Muto
Most companies run on a few long documents: a handbook, a plan, a set of procedures, a specification. Each starts as a Word file, gets emailed round, and is out of date by the time everyone has read it.
Muto began with exactly that kind of document: a long plan that a whole team had to agree on, keep up to date and read. It works the same for any long document your company keeps.
What we believe
- Your documents are yours. We don’t open them, sell them, or use them to train AI.
- Plain beats clever. Muto should be simple enough to use without a training course.
- Readers matter as much as writers. A document only works if the people it’s for can find their part and trust it’s the newest.
Where Muto is now
Muto is in alpha: a few companies use it for free while we finish it. If you’d like yours to be one of them, ask to join.
Who makes it
Muto is made in New Zealand by Duckt. Your documents are kept in Sydney, Australia. We read every email ourselves: say hello at hello@muto.cloud.
